I just got back…

…from my new favourite place on earth. The city is beautiful, the people are beautiful, they dress super well (the place just exudes style), the autumn weather is fantastic. I had a such a good weekend! I will be going back to Sweden again. It’s great.

A story about “Out of Nothing”

by Embrace (UK)

Good stuff. I hadn’t heard of these guys before Saturday night (they were playing at my work party – my company rocks in that respect). I liked them there, and then got some of their tunes. I’m really quite impressed – how popular are these guys out of the UK?

Boring and predictable

by Martin Scorsese

I didn’t enjoy this at all. I found it quite boring, I felt no suspense, or thrill from it. It wasn’t scary. I’m quite disappointed. There were some very odd shots in the movie, my guess is that they are probably reminiscent of the original. The reason I say that is that some of the shots felt very hitchcock-esque, and I find often old murder/mystery/thrillers have that sort of feeling. I will try to watch the original, see if I enjoy that more.
