I got back in touch…

…with a friend from New Zealand a couple of days ago. I hadn’t heard from or seen him since October 2006, and it was good to hear from him. I had to do some digging as I had an old email address, but I found a newer one and things are good.

ALSO, I’m going to London tonight (assuming I’m feeling better by mid afternoon) to see a couple of old friends. One I saw about 6 or so weeks ago, but one I haven’t seen in nearly 7 years. It’ll be cool to catch up with her again.

I really like finding out what people are up to, I think I might have to keep on top of this goal, recontacting people, restablishing friendship – it’s great.

More trips to add!

hehehe. So, since I’ve joined head office here in the UK I’ve had 3 trips away.

2x Dusseldorf (becoming old hat)
1x Malta – that was a good trip. Got to meet some new people, discuss some good technology, and got to go to a new place. With the addition of this (and my recent trip to Sweden as well) I’ve now seen 13% of Europe. Got to get that up tho!

A story about “Pink Floyd - The Wall”

by Alan Parker

I think more bands should be involved with movie production. You get something completely different with them. And I’m not talking about “bands” like The Spice Girls, Mariah, or Britney Spears (cause they’ve all made awful movies).

This was well worth the watch.
