My name is Hamish Rickerby. I’m a New Zealander living in Reading in the United Kingdom. I’m interested in telecommunications (it’s my job), architecture (IT and the kind with buildings too), finance, and business in general. I also listen to a lot of music, and watch a lot of movies. I like good design on products and fashion.
I perform a bit of development in Objective-C and Ruby (well, I’m not a real ruby developer, I just use rubyonrails). I have a web application design business called Glimmer Design. The flagship product is a web based accounting application called Got the GiST – it handles small business GST compliance for New Zealand based businesses. I’ve also started getting into iPhone development.
This is just really a space for me to throw out thoughts I have. Personal, business, political, development, anything really. I guess what I’m saying is don’t expect a theme
